The Juvenile Justice Programs Office is involved in several grant projects.
Some of these grants are awarded thru a Request for Proposal process while
others are sponsored by/thru this office.
A
recent grant project was awarded from the United States Department of Justice,
Bureau of Justice Assistance with the intent to develop strategies to initiate
and enhance planning for gender-specific programs to address the needs of
females in the juvenile justice system, as well as at-risk young women around
the State of Nevada.
